Pecans sauteed with onion, parsley, basil and ginger make plain brown rice come to life with rich, nutty flavor.
Ingredients | Rajma Rice Recipe In Telugu1 cup brown rice2 tablespoons margarine¼ cup finely chopped onion½ cup finely chopped pecans2 tablespoons minced parsley¼ teaspoon dried basil¼ teaspoon ground ginger¼ teaspoon ground black pepper¼ teaspoon saltDirectionsIn a saucepan bring 2 cups water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 40 minutes.When rice is done, melt margarine in a small skillet over medium heat. Saute onions, pecans, parsley, basil, ginger, pepper and salt.
